Kathy has been performing comedy since 2016. this is her origin story.

Kathy grew up in Wimbledon, South London and was heavily involved in theatre as a teen, spending much of her time at Group 64 Youth Theatre in Putney. She was constantly cast in comedy parts and evenutally someone told her she could just do comedy and not all the boring serious acting. She joined her university sketch comedy group, The Oxford Revue, and there she met her comedy partner Derek Mitchell

Kathy and Derek have been writing and performing comedy together as Horseplay ever since - bringing shows Witch Hunt and Bareback to the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as touring around the UK and abroad to Barcelona and Amsterdam.

Kathy began performing solo character comedy in 2019 following a Soho Theatre course. She made videos through lockdown on her Instagram @kathykathymm and has since been a regular on the London comedy circuit. She has also trained with Character Welcome in New York and the Free Association in London.

In 2023 she created her debut solo show OBJECTIFIED, which she performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe to 4 and 5 star reviews.  She is currently working on a new show as the LONDON CYCLING MAN
